Gonzales earned a bachelor's degree in game art and design from the Art Institute of Phoenix. He joined Blizzard Entertainment in 2006 and worked primarily on the StarCraft games Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm, designing mulitplayer units and buildings. He also created weapon models in The Burning Crusade, as well as card art for the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. He is currently the primary character artist for Heroes of the Storm. This includes maintaining a creative artistic vision for the heroes.
