Fixed Greymane in regard to per level scaling, but ever since the "scaling update" patch right before Towers of Doom was released, all heroes gain 4% health, 4% health regen, 10 mana(for heroes with mana) 4% attack damage and 4% ability damage. The old level scaling was too difficult to keep up with for them as well as too hard to balance, so the new system should be reflected here as well. All their tuning and changes from this point forward will be to the hero's base stats which are also different now than they were pre-scaling change.
I saw a reply by another editor mentinoing what information they display on the website being inconsistent, but in the talk page for the hero template, I only listed stats visible in-game by using the character sheet hotkey, "C" by default. Blizzard's own website is out of date and incorrect in some cases, such as their page for The Lost Vikings.
I was wondering if you might change gamepedia links to wikia links in your travels across the Blizzard-related sites. There's a couple of reasons, the first being that it's very discouraging being one of the central editors on those sites and not having linkage even on our own network.
The second is for those communities and Wikia in general. Curse isn't providing any sort of link-back, meaning they're getting those links for free from your communities. I'd imagine all their Diablo and StarCraft links go to their sites and not yours :P
This guy just vandalized a few of our pages, after dealing with it I decided to swing by and check out whether he's done anything here (since I saw the wiki among his favorites). Sure enough, he has vanalized a page here too.
seeing as this wiki's getting attacked so much by the korean spam bot, I would highly recommend blocking the following as a precaution. the bot's only using gibberish usernames, very low chance its a legit user...

PS: i've been reporting the accounts to vstf, just to let you know every time i spot a spammer
Hi there, I noticed that your wiki too unfortunately became the target of those Korean forum spammers. Feel free to contact the VSTF in the future to help you with the cleanup. We can delete all their posts in a matter of seconds, as opposed to you having to waste time removing their messages manually. Kind regards.
I'd certainly appreciate any help. That said, it would be good if you could get in touch with Raylan, since he makes the decisions in regards to this kind of issue.
It's not really a decision that affects the wiki -it's just to help you clean up. We can generally do it faster than you guys, it's just a time saver. For the rest, we don't get involved with wiki matters, that's still all you guys. We would just be your cleanup crew :-)
Well, in the event of no caveats, I'm happy for you guys to do cleanup. This is admittedly a tertiary wiki for me (SC and Diablo being primary/secondary), but it'll save me a lot of time.
I'm not really the best person to ask - Raylan would be a better choice. It looks fine from what I've seen though - honestly, there's going to be similarities at the end of the day since many articles are based on game mechanics and statistics, so those are going to be the same regardless of language.
Hello! I've been trying to upload the voiceover files for the hero quotations page, but I can't find a way to do it. Is it allowed? If so, how do I do it?
All the files are .ogg, so there's no problem uploading them. You can just go as if you were uploading a photo. Once it's uploaded, it can be properly seen on the actual file page. I did just the first of Abathur.
There's a metric ton of voice files you've got (which is wonderful, thank you!) so it might be best to sort through them and select particular sets to include on a Name/Voiceovers page for each hero. I can help, of course ;)
What do you guys think? Any sets in particular that jump out as most important? Or do you think including all of them is the better route to take?
We just wanted to let you know that some bit HotS fans here at Wikia will be jumping in today to make some edits, improve the wiki, etc. Let us know if there is something we did that you hate or have questions about something. We've also temporarily turned on chat, so we'll be in there today if you want to hang out.
