Turn an allied Minion or Locust into a Monstrosity. When enemy Minions near the Monstrosity die, it gains 5% Health and 5% Basic Attack damage, stacking up to 40 times. The Monstrosity takes 50% less damage from Minions and Structures.
Using Symbiote on the Monstrosity allows you to control it, in addition to Symbiote's normal benefits.

- The health of the monstrosity is 1000 (+4% per level).

- (Patch April 24, 2018) Note: The number of Minions Absorbed stacks no longer appear inconsistent in the Buff bar after Abathur dies while a Monstrosity is active.
- (Patch September 13, 2016) Note: Evolve Monstrosity can no longer push Minions or captured Mercenaries by walking into them.
- (Patch June 14, 2016) Note: Fixed an issue that allowed Evolve Monstrosity to pick up coins and gems, which were then permanently lost upon death.
- (Patch April 12, 2016) Note: Maximum Minion stacks increased from 30 to 40.; Health increased from 931 (+4% per level) to 1000 (+4% per level).
- (Patch October 6, 2015) Note: Pressing R with a Monstrosity active will now automatically cast Symbiote on the Monstrosity and move your camera to its position.
- (Patch August 18, 2015) Note: Abathur’s Evolve Monstrosity cooldown will no longer begin counting down when Abathur is killed while a Monstrosity remains alive.
